Washington High School

Congratulations are in order to Sydney & Lauren for being selected by the Iowa Girls' Coaches Association to their ALL-DISTRICT BASKETBALL TEAM (Southeast District) recently.  The team is selected by each coach within the Southeast District (13 teams) voting for 10 girls among those 13 teams. Congratulations to you both!!!

Sydney was also selected to the DES MOINES REGISTER Class 3A Team ALL STATE Girls Basketball Team.  The Des Moines Register's all-state basketball selections have been made annually since 1917.  Ballots are sent to all of the state's coaches, who are asked to nominate players and to provide statistics/ comments.  The responses provide a basis for selections. Other criteria includes: value to team, leadership, character, statistics and honors.  Fantastic!
