Turning Lemons into MONEY! PDF Print E-mail

Everyone can make a difference in fund raising.  For example, Kylee & Nate had fun running a lemonade stand this summer to raise money for school supplies for students.  They raised $97 and purchased school supplies for students in need at Lincoln Elementary.  The school supplies are greatly appreciated and we thank Kylee & Nate for their clever idea in fund raising- that's a lot of lemonade!

2010-2011 Traffic Flow and Parking at Washington Junior High PDF Print E-mail

As staff, students, and community return to school this year, Washington Junior High School will be implementing a new one-way traffic flow and parking plan. All traffic will enter via the north entrance off of South Avenue B and exit through the south entrance back onto South Avenue B. Buses only will be allowed to use the circle drive before and after school for student drop off. Parents are asked to drop off students in front of the building towards the south end before and after school.  Signs are posted marking all areas.

Due to construction of the new high school, many parking areas will not be accessible at the junior high. Lot parking during the day will only be available to staff members and visitors.  Handicapped parking will be available to patrons. No parking signs will be posted in front of the building along the curb during school hours. Parents and students will be asked to utilize street parking in front of the Halycon House but not in their parking lots.  Lines on the street mark legal parking in these areas.
