WHO: Children 4 years old on or before September 15th.

WHAT: Free quality preschool and transportation provided by Stewart Elementary.

WHEN: Preschool will begin August 30th, 2010. Students will attend Mondays and Fridays from 8:05am-3:05pm and Wednesdays from 12:45-3:05pm.

Below are photos of two community partners that were guest readers at Stewart during our March "Love to Read" month. Chuck Underhill, Hy-Vee Store Director, read to Mrs. Pim's first grade class. Keith Lazaar, president of Washington State Bank, read to Mrs. Long's first grade class. Both businesses made significant contributions to our reading month activities.

WHERE: Stewart Elementary School Kindergarten Classrooms

WHEN: April 22 & 23, 2010

Parents must sign their child up for one of the following sections:

Session 1: April 22nd (8:30-11:00)

Session 2: April 22nd (12:30-3:00)

Session 3: April 23rd (8:30-11:00)

Session 4: April 23rd (12:30-3:00)

My Many Colored Days at Stewart PDF Print E-mail

At Stewart Elementary, March was celebrated as "Love to Read" month and this included theme dress up days during the month that coordinated with different Dr. Seuss books. After reading My Many Colored Days by Dr. Seuss, our final dress up day involved each grade level wearing a different color.

Too Many Daves at Stewart! PDF Print E-mail

Did you ever hear of the day, that all students at Stewart School were all named DAVE????? The entire school read the story, "Too Many Daves" by Dr. Seuss and celebrated by having everyone in the whole building wear a name sticker today labeled Dave.




The REAL DAVES had their picture taken at Stewart. Included are Dave Hoffman, Dave Plyman, Dave Sextro, David (student), Dave Hotle, and Dave Henderson.
