HS: Toothpick Bridge Print

These students in Mr. Richard's class took on a challenge; they built a toothpick bridge to compete in the Annual Physics Olympics. Mitchell H and Michael H both built this bridge constructed only of toothpicks and Elmer's glue. The bridge was built to satisfy the following requirements: mass not to exceed 30 grams, a board of a certain dimension has to fit under the bridge, it had to meet certain minimums & maximums in size/ dimensions, the maximum bridge height cannot exceed 22cm, it must be a "free standing" bridge and only toothpicks and glue can be used. The team will compete at the State Physics Olympics held at UNI on April 17th. Pictured are Mitchell H & Michael H. Good luck!
