WHS Strength and Conditioning Facility at Case Field Print

The Strength and Conditioning Facility at Case Field is hopping EARLY at 6:25 am every school day morning. Approximately 100 to 110 students utilize the facility five mornings per week with an additional 30 to 40 using the facility after school. Starting in the fall of 2012 Weight Lifting 1 & 2 will be offered for concurrent credit for students at Washington High School. Not only does resistance training (strength training) build muscle, it also: helps reduce injuries to our student-athletes, improves bone density, strength & balance; improves cognitive function; can help fight depression; increases flexibility; as well as, helps build confidence & leadership.
