November 17-21: American Education Week Print

Please join us this week in celebrating education and honoring individuals who make a difference in education. The entire week is to appreciate ALL EDUCATORS! Historically, American Education Week was first observed December 4-10, 1921, with the NEA (National Education Association) and American Legion as the co-sponsors. This year's theme is "Great Public Schools: A Basic Right & Our Responsibility," and will be reflected in special observances throughout the week long celebration. We are proud to observe this very important week. Thank you to all the teachers, employees and staff at Washington Community School District for the care and concern you have for all of our students. We celebrate YOU!
