Lincoln: Print

The Lincoln LEGO LEADERS TEAM competed recently in the Ottumwa Regional Tournament. This year they addressed the problem of student success in school and the link it has with students feeling connected and welcomed within their schools. The LEADERS created a series of posters using QR codes that connected students to classroom blogs, school web links and even the lunch menu. The team scored well on the bot course where their bot (BIG LEADER 6) had a high score to 85 points. The team placed 10th of 25 at the tournament. Please feel free to scan the posters around Lincoln and see how technology can help solve problems, keep students connected within the school and improve achievement and success! Way to go LEGO LEAGUE 2014! Pictured here is Joe Pisarik (Lincoln Science Instructor) with the Lincoln Lego Leaders Team.
