Water Safety and Land Rescues Print

The students of Lincoln Elementary are participating in a water safety course. They are learning the most important things to remember when they are around water.

1) The water is the most dangerous part.

2) Never go swimming alone.

3) When you are rescuing someone in danger of drowning, never go in the water after them. Reach, Throw, Row, Go (get help).

In the photos you see the students playing a game where they get into swimming danger and are rescued by other students using the life saving techniques they have been taught.

Hopefully, the 6th Grade will not have to use this during the Adventure Day Field trip to Belva Deer Lake on May 16th.
