Washington Choir Robes

The Washington County Riverboat Foundation awarded the Washington Community School District a $10,000 grant for new choir robes at Washington High School during the spring of 2008. The old choir robes were purchased 20 years ago and several were no longer in usable condition In addition, the choir department didn’t have a full range of sizes to fit all students.

New Robes

The new choir robes will help our students to positively represent our school and community in local and regional performances. The Washington High School vocal concert outreach programs encourage the community to get involved with the arts as well as bring musical healing to the elderly with special medical needs. We feel that, as a choral department, it is important for WHS students to adopt volunteerism in their own lives.
