Washington MS Band students were busy in the month of April, attending the Mt. Pleasant Honor Band on April 9th and the SEIBA 2nd Year Honor Band on April 30th.
Five 6th grade students attended the SEIBA 2nd Year Honor Band at Liberty HS on April 30th. These students were under the direction of retired Iowa City director, Jane Triplett. (L to R) Melody M(Clarinet), Robert A (Bass Clarinet), Lola H (Trumpet), Anthony R (Trumpet), and Payton M(Euphonium)
25 WMS Band students attended the Mt. Pleasant Honor Band on April 9th. The 6th grade band was under the direction of Ross Shumocker, director of the Riverbend Middle School in the Iowa Falls-Alden Community School District. The 7th/8th grade band was directed by Nick Carlo who currently teaches band at Liberty High School and North Central Junior High in North Liberty, IA.
